These two things are unchangeable: first, God cannot be false when he promises, and second, when he swears, he cannot be false. These things give us a secure approach to God. This world is always changing. Almost everything changes, but the one thing that really doesn't change is the unchanging truth that what God has promised, what God has sworn, is not false. What God has said never changes. So let us be people who live by promise, let us be people who live by promise.
